I always find it amazing that Americans haven't yet fully realised that their votes aren't equal. Around 32 percent of the population lives in four states and these account for around 27 percent of the electoral college. That directly means that a vote here counts less than any of the bottom 30 states by population.
Question now becomes, what do you mean by average voter? Is it a tech worker living in a one bedroom in San Francisco, or is it the family of three living in the suburbs in Wisconsin?
