Come on. It's still coffee. Milk has been added to coffee for at the very least 400 years and probably way longer than that.

Just because it's not how you prefer your coffee, doesn't make it any lesser of a drink. It's just not your preference. It's still coffee.

I'd even venture to say that coffee without milk or sweetener is the abnormal version. There's no need for this gatekeeping.

For me it's really a winter problem. 100+mi winter ski trips are fairly common. With cold weather range reductions and heat going hard it really eats into the range quickly. Being able to go up the mountains and back without charging is ideal.

I've really enjoyed the few Cometeer options I've tried. Definitely heading away from instant and towards filter in terms of flavor.

I've found that espresso grinding on my 1Zpresso J-Max is way faster than anything on my Hario. Takes roughly 30sec for a 20g dose in the max and I remember the Hario taking as long as a kettle for an aeropress.

For what it's worth, I have a J-Max and hate the magnetic catch cup. It used to come off while grinding probably 10% of the time. I now leave a strip of electrical tape on it to keep it on while grinding.
