It was not acceptable but it was very much understandable.

And honestly I don't think it's Thompson's fault. He's just doing what's expected of him as the CEO of a profit-oriented company. The one at fault are the Legislators that let this happend and the laws/conventions of the stock market that prioritize revenue and growth above all.

If anything, Legislators and Investors should have been shot, not Thompson.

If you bring up anything remotely political you're absolutely going to get banned

I was banned from globalnews (or similar) for saying that killing civilians qwas bad even when Hamas did it. I was banned for being a 'genocide supporter'

And then I was banned from every single lemmy.ml community I was in (signal, fairphone, fdroid etc) for talking about the uyguhr genocide

So yeah, I should probably see this as a chance to quit social media completely and go touch grass

Hey there. I am looking for a Calendar-Syncing-Solution that can:

  1. Sync CalDav Calendars between Phone, Laptop and Desktop

  2. share certain Calendars with other Users on my Server

  3. subscribe to external Ical Calendars and make them available to (certain) Users

but nothing i looked at seems to support my Point Nr. 3. anyone know a good solution for me?
