Thank you. It is said these birds breed throughout Europe. They do like a certain environment, rivers and lakes with steep banks. Here in the Netherlands we have man made concrete walls with holes for nesting. At the start of the season new sand is deposited for them to use building new nests.
Well... that was the surprise of the day. Didn't see that one coming.
Happens more and more... shorter attention span and/or too tired to focus properly.
