Good to see this new community. I am a birder from the Netherlands, Europe. Spotted this Sand Martin during holiday this spring.

Thank you. It is said these birds breed throughout Europe. They do like a certain environment, rivers and lakes with steep banks. Here in the Netherlands we have man made concrete walls with holes for nesting. At the start of the season new sand is deposited for them to use building new nests.
