Where I live, I would look what Internet connection speed is available at this address. A very slow connection with no possibility to upgrade can be a pain in the ass imo

The handheld thingy they had in star trek was called "communicator", the newer one i think "tricorder"

or maybe "HAL" from 2001: A Space Odyssey

here is wikipedias list on fictional science fiction computers, maybe you will find something here as well :)

If i am honest i have no idea what all of them mean. I dont know the difference between a "medium" steak, a "medium rare" steak and a "medium well" steak. I don't think I would be able to tell if I ordered a "medium rare" and they brought me "medium well" ...

I just always order "medium rare" because people have told me that this is how a steak is supposed to be prepared and that ordering "well done" or something else would mean the steak is now basically garbage.

But yea. No idea :p

You can adjust the dioptres of the viewfinder with a little scrollwheel next to it, to match your personal eyesight. Farsighted people will then be able to look through the viewfinder without wearing their glasses or contact lenses and see a sharp image. They will see the same sharp image as a person with perfect vision would see looking through it with the dioptre setting at 0. Then the photographer can use the manual focus to take a picture that looks sharp to them (with adjusted dioptre-setting) and it will also be a sharp photo 'to the camera'.

I am pretty new to DnD and have absolutely no idea what i am doing, but right now we play 2 campaigns parallel in our group (one is a shorter one-shot campaign). I play a dwarven barbarian in the main campaign and I really enjoy it. He's tanky and strong and does a lot of dmg (i can hit 3 times now in a turn, thats pretty neat). I think a lot of people will find my barbarian cliché, but i don't care, i enjoy playing him :)

In the one-shot i play a human cleric who I was told is really OP with the rolls that I did for my stats (but since i have no idea what I am doing - i dont know if thats true and how to really use her to the maximum potential lol) in contrast to my barbarian i play the cleric pretty RP heavy and I try to have her do things that the character would do instead of what I would do - its pretty fun :)

the DM of one of the campaigns i am playing right now (one-shot) uses AI art to sometimes illustrate something for the players. For example, there was a massive tree in the middle of a city in one part and he had an AI draw it for us. I think its pretty cool.
