Claymore is Amazing! I loved it when I read it, maybe I'll read it again sometime....

Anyway, my recommendation would be Planetes, from the creator of Vinland Saga, a story about space exploration and it's relation with humanity itself, is really beautiful...

Maybe I'll this one again too lol

You are goddamn right.

You are right, the thing is that my proposal comes as a conclusion drawn from real life experience I had recently.

Where I live it is very common for people to tell anecdotes about their lives as a way of making conversation, and I have always liked the naturalness with which the information is given in that way, it gives you to intuit a lot of things with so little.

If you have a character whose background you want to explain in a natural way, you can do so through anecdotes, not direct Wikipedia-like explanations.

No real (or sane) person is going to approach you all of the sudden and say "I was in the military in the 1600s, at age of 16, my father was a captan and blah blah blah blah..."

But there will be people who will say in a casual way "In the army they gave us nice caps, but I stopped wearing them for fear of going bald at a young age".

With that you explain the background and also the character's character in a short, simple and yet interesting way.

EDIT: The stupid draft I had saved had not been updated as it should and the incomplete version of what I wanted to say was published. I have corrected it.

That there were little gnomes inside the doors of the cars and that they were in charge of raising and lowering the windows, especially in the automatic cars.

I literally cannot think of a better punchline

Edit: See it for yourself

To further elaborate on what I mean to avoid misunderstandings:

  • In both series the protagonist duo is conformed on a girl who is one of the prettiest girls in high school and a boy who is very nerdy and pathetic in appearance.
  • The Duo go often in crazy adventures.
  • The Duo start out as friends but eventually form a relationship.
  • The girl is proactive, strong and intelligent, the MVP in most of the cases.
  • The boy is much more capable than meets the eye. Does anyone already made the comparison?

Don't say that "You can't write". If you can tweet, comment, post shit on the internet, you CAN write.

You may have heard of Shonnen Jump's "Big 3" back in the day. They were, if I'm not mistaken: Naruto, One Piece** and Bleach**. Three of the most successful Mangas of the magazine that were published simultaneously.

It's been a while since then, we are in a new era with new groundbreaking manga. Will there be an equivalent to the "Big 3" in the modern era?

For me there is no argument, two of the most artistically and narratively impressive manga currently on the air are Chainsaw Man and Dandadan. Mind you, they're not as "big" as Naruto was back in the day or One Piece is today, but their impact is undeniable.

So I thought I'd give them their own category: the "Weird," weird manga being published simultaneously and having a brutal impact.

**That said, I'm missing one more manga to be able to talk about the "Weird 3", so I wanted to know if any of you have a suggestion for the third spot.

Or if you have your own way of ranking the most famous, original and/or successful manga, I would like to read your opinions.
