That's good news for me then! I can't remember any point in my life when I didn't have at least one poo a day lol

I've been dealing with depression a lot since I quit drinking. I've found that exercise does help, but for me it has to be exercise that I actually enjoy. I've been going for walks. I like exploring different parts of my neighborhood and now that I've been doing it a while I can cover 4 or 5 miles in a day! Being in better shape gives me more energy and I actually feel like getting up and doing something instead of just vegging out in front of the TV for hours

I've also found that just cleaning my space has been really helpful. I let my house turn into a disgusting mess when my depression was at it's worst, and the act of tidying it all up helped improve my mood a lot. Having actual space to work and everything where its supposed to be has made me much more productive artistically too. Seeing a mess every day was just making me more depressed.

Finding a new hobby that you have to learn about and get better at can really help with getting the creative process going too.

I hope this is helpful. I know the same things don't always work for everyone, but I'm in a much better place than I was 2 years ago now

The Beatles are overrated

Because when the world collapses we will definitely need a narcissistic disgraced CEO to survive the apocalypse... Someone should convince him to go live in his bunker now so we don't have to listen to his bullshit anymore

I don't know if we're still doing the beans thing or not, but I'll upvote the baked beans gaming dice because they are awesome lol

I'm like 95% sure it's probably something I'm doing wrong lol

I was not aware there were designated cross stitch holidays like this lol! Sadly I will be out of town this weekend, but I will try to take part in the next one!

I'm still very new to this hobby, so I'm still just doing one project at a time, but I do already have like 3 more projects lined up and I've considered starting one of them already

Yes it seemed more difficult to do just about anything on Kbin to me, but that may be in part because of the app I was using and the recent influx of so many Redditors though

I'm pretty new to the Fediverse but I tried Kbin and Lemmy and so far I've enjoyed using Lemmy a lot more. It just feels more intuitive.

NSFW? Is this a porn sub now? I have to say some of these modern porn videos are getting very avant garde...

I hooked them up to a Roku box so I could use it to watch old TV shows in SD format! The picture is actually really clear, but it looks terrible here from the camera interference lol

I did not realize when I downloaded this new pattern that it is larger than the widest loop that I have (I realize this is my own fault for not reading the description closely enough). Is it ok to clamp the loop down onto parts I've already stitched so I can work on the next part of the pattern or will this mess up the stitches?

I hope this counts, if not I can remove it. This is a game token from an arcade that used to exist at my local mall when I was a kid! It was my favorite place in the mall!

I'll be adding some text and other decorative parts but I'm pretty happy with it so far!

I added the backstitching and some finishing touches!
