Yes, it happened in the US.

Jesus Christ, I’m legitimately shocked.

Why? This is genuinely pretty fucking tame for Mississippi.

Secure from who? The law? Not likely. Some dude in his basement in Russia who really wants to know where I'm meeting my friends after work or what time my dentist appointment is? Big deal.

Honestly, who is actually stupid enough to still be sending sensitive personal information by text? It doesn't matter what app you use to send it; once it's sent, it's inherently unsecure because now someone else has it in their posession with nothing but their personal integrity protecting it.

Unless you're literally starving to death, spam never has a positive impact on your diet. It's basically just salt, gelatin, and connective tissue scraped off the bone. Adding extreme quantities of salt to an item that already has extreme quantities of salt is awful nutritional advice, no matter how small the budget.

"Essential worker" just means non-union poors, realistically. If you've got no leverage and don't make enough to have any savings, you are required to continue going to work no matter what happens.

My phone can already send texts. Why the fuck would I install spyware to be able to also send texts?

No reason is a legal reason, unfortunately.

Constitutional renewal every generation?

Yes, especially considering that was the original intent of the document. Whether or not that's the most realistic, or even a possible way forward at this point is another question entirely, and I don't like what I think the answer is.

Machine guns, armored vehichles, and chemical weapons happened.

People hate protests because they value not being inconvenienced more than they value the rights of others.

The reason our government governs us today is because they have an overwhelming ability to do violence on us, and the majority of us fear it, even if only subconsciously. If you think it's by our choice, you're utterly delusional.

You mean the innovation that's destroying the planet? Ok bro.
