That’s an odd article. Weird use of quotes (the village really is small) and it seems a perfectly reasonable place to put some houses, but the article sounds disapproving without saying why. Kind of like there should be a residents pressure group arguing against it, but there isn’t?

That is good news. Now they need to reprint book 2 of the Nemesis the Warlock series - I can’t find it for love nor money

That is a shame - I’ve had a lot of fun with it over the years. I can’t find anything quite like it- does anyone have any ideas?

I have had two. It is exhausting - parenting is hard work. One thing I found helpful was to put a positive spin on it whenever possible (not always possible!). If it’s any consolation I’ve found my memory wonderfully selective over the years - a few happy memories of then as babies for example, when I know for sure there was a lot of missed nights sleep and frustration. It’s also kind of satisfying when they get older and it looks like you didn’t do a bad job of it.

Hang in there!

Embrace it and encourage the conversation - it’s when they don’t tell you what they’re doing online and who they’re doing it with that you’ve got a problem

Exactly. The key thing is the differentiation of sex (biology) and gender (social). A bathroom for women can be used by all women, even those who happen to have male bodies. It also clarifies the difference between transsexual and transgender - most transgender people are not transsexual.

Men/women - gender (social). Male, female - sex (biology). It’s very simple, just use the right one depending on the context.

The way you improve the lot of foreign workers (a good idea) is by putting in place trade agreements that mandate worker protections. “You can only sell us cheap widgets if the working conditions are reasonable “. Two further points. 1 - with tariffs the worker exploitation continues, the goods just cost more (see example above) and 2 - look at the vibrant and dynamic US motorcycle industry for an example of the long term consequences of being insulated from competition.

That pushed me over the edge to subscribe to the print edition

Excellent game - highly recommend

I’m used to browsing the web on Firefox with ad blocking - works great. My experience of Safari with AdBlock Pro is much less good - many websites block access unless it’s disabled. I also used to have good results with Firefox on Android. Does anyone have better suggestions? Many thanks!

This annoyed me. You can boost pack all the way from your New Atlantis penthouse balcony to the New Atlantis star port. Off a skyscraper, travel for miles. It’s fantastic - everyone should do it. Really gives a sense of the scale and capability of the world and game. It does that better than any actual quest or cutscene… bit of a missed opportunity if you ask me.
