I'm on Android 14 on a Samsung A52s using gesture navigation. The setting "System notification and navigation bar theme" is set to "transparent." It happens throughout the app. The status bar is transparent, but the navigation bar still has padding. Hope that helps.

The 5 was originally supposed to be a smaller version of the 1, so from what I remember, the 10 series is their midrange.
