This was the first one that came to mind for me! I had a ps1 growing up, and I think my grandma bought me this game or something lol. No clue how she picked it out. Maybe the person at checkout recommended it or something. It was probably the first rpg I ever played, and I had no idea what I was doing. I remember complaining to a friend at school how I was just stuck at the first castle area, and he was like, "you need to hang out outside that area for a bit and grind some levels", and I was like, "wtf does that mean." I go back and play it every once in a while, but I've never actually beaten it. It is a long game!

Severance may be a good fit for this particular context. And although there's only one season out right now, it's so good (imo) that I've seen it about six times haha. And season 2 is finally coming out next week, so it's a good time to check it out.

I'm not sure I could fit a full bike between my bed and my desk, actually lol. I'll just round up to a full 1 second then.

It would be neat if same-topic communities somehow could somehow merge into a single community view via federation. There are probably some downsides to what I'm considering, but it seems like it could help alleviate fragmentation while allowing the "same" communities to be hosted across multiple instances. If one instance defederated from another, the community posts in that instance would be excluded from the combined view.

Maybe even a simple opt-in/out of a combined view for communities that truly want or need to stand alone. Not sure if this goes against the core concepts of federation or not. It seems like a nice compromise at a glance, if it could be implemented well.

He was hilarious in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World! (that whole cast is perfect imo, though lol)

I know it's a meme, but this was true for me lol. As a huge Souls fan, I actually refunded this game the first time I bought it. I'm so glad I gave it a second chance, though. On my second time around, I gave in to the forced playstyle and the forced parrying (I hate parrying in games), and when I took a little bit of time to learn the mechanics, it was OH so rewarding!

Ofc, the game is not for everyone. But the meme is honestly kind of accurate, at least for me. Once it clicked, I flew through the rest of the game, albeit with some great challenges along the way. It honestly does a great job teaching you necessary mechanics through gameplay and boss fights. And the final boss is one of the best, most satisfying boss fights I've experienced in any game. Took me many attempts to win, but it felt amazing when I finally put everything together and did it.

Anyways, this is a bit long-winded for a shitpost, but for anyone on the fence, especially Souls fans, give it a fair shake and remember to play how the game wants you to play (the hardest hurtle to overcome). Really incredible game imo.
