I had the 6a and went to a 7a. The 7a is seriously way better. It's faster, smoother, deeper blacks and color, plus you can use face unlock. The face unlock is ridiculously fast and accurate. I still have my 6a I use for beta testing. I would definitely recommend the 7a.

This guy does really great reviews with each beta. I recommend checking out some of his videos. https://youtube.com/@IDTR

No new features from beta 4.1 to 5. It's all fixes under the hood. Are you referring to changes in Android 15 as a whole?

I've been on all the betas. It's fine. There are still things I'd like to see resolved still, but it's stable enough to use.

That's very true and should have happened. However, I still believe there needs to be a forced retirement age in politics.

I work for the Federal Government and just got my job by applying to something else on Career Builder. After you submit a resume or application they give you the option to mass apply to jobs. I did that. I had no clue I had even applied for the job. I've now been working for them for 10 years and have had four promotions. I'm now on a leadership role. I never even meant to apply to it.

Can we just get all these oldies out no matter what party that are in? We should have a law where you have to retire at whatever the youngest public retirement age is.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen here. That was a huge problem on reddit. Can we just not bring all the bad things about reddit here? Like Whose Line is it Anyway, the points are made up and nothing matters. Just enjoy this.

No major U.S. carrier has used 2G for years. Well, at least Verizon and AT&T. Sprint did as well before merging with T-Mobile. T-Mobile is shutting down 2G this year. So, not really a big deal.

This is exactly why I have a lemmy.world and a lemdro.id account. I keep them both logged into Voyager and just switch to the other when one goes down.

I don't entirely see how this is relevant to some people. For example, I don't care what the recommendations are. I go into YouTube and immediately go to subscriptions and just watch what's new. I realize that this isn't what everyone does, but it works for me.

I feel sad for those stuck there. Those who graduate from college there will have less work options. Non-Maga states will be hesitant to hire them because of their lack of actual knowledge due to indoctrination.
