My stepdad has arthritis, he gets prescribed packs of 600mg ibu, with like 5x20 blister packs in a pack or something around that number. It's mainly that at least in germany pill bottles don't exist, and probably some other EU countries too. Might be illegal for safety reasons or something, all I ever see in bottles are supplements and such. Medication is always in blister packs. I kind of dislike how wasteful that seems.

I have also never seen 200mg ibu though, only 400 and 600.

And for the automatically created playlists for some reason it doesn't use the same algorithm as youtube does for its mix playlists, which I generally quite like.

Overall works better than spotify for me though since I always found spotify's UI to be beyond terrible, and all I do is listen to my own playlists anyway. And if I'm at my pc I just use youtube's own mixes which are somehow the only automatically created playlists I like.

While nuclear container ships would be very useful for reducing emissions I'm not sure I want to trust shipping companies with nuclear reactors given the track record of ship accidents and noncompliance with environmental regulations. Feels like they'd just dump the nuclear waste into the ocean.

This doesn't seem to be even close to a venn diagram to me. Most obviously, having the same element ("HO") 3 times in different places is incompatible with venn diagrams as it violates fundamental assumptions of set theory. If I'm not mistaken, in this case an euler diagram would also look the same as a venn diagram (if we change the labels to correctly be "yo ho", "yo ho ho" and "ho ho ho" rather than the individual words arranged for comedic effect)

It's still an amusing image though and I really don't see why it matters.

If not hiring people based on their religion is allowed, that's in itself religious discrimination. By that same logic indigeneous people in canada should have worse chances of being hired right now because they get extra days off. (And let's face it that might even be happening, even if not officially).

Effectively it'd just mean that companies would prefer hiring atheists that don't get extra days off.

I can make a new one that has a holiday every day of the year at that point.

That aside, pretending to be part of a religion for personal gain feels rather disrespectful for something that for many people is deeply personal.

I just only know one of the names half the time, and more often than not that's the japanese one. Same with english movie titles when I'm speaking german.

Then you're still treating people unequally based on however many holidays their religion has. Not to mention atheists. It shouldn't go beyond "you get priority to get this specific day off over this other person for whom it's not a special day". And of course not allowing employers to deny vacation requests without a good reason, for some minimum number of days a year.

Fuck the haters. Leaving a social gathering you don't want to be at should be normal, nothing bad is going to happen bevause you left early. Even making it to halftime is a courtesy really, people should thank you for being considerate for staying that long rather than criticize you for leaving when it got too much. So, good job, you probably made your family and visitors happy by being there at all. You deserve your rest afterwards.

Don't let anyone tell you you're a baby or whatever over this. If anything those people seem more immature to me for not realizing that different people struggle with different things.

I love that the first example on that page is .co.ck

This feels underutilized.

I've always took that scene to be way more about not panicking and thus missing the obvious solution than any sort of boomer humor.

I know very little about CRT beyond some very general idea so idk if there's a point to call it that specifically, but the naming choice is so bad that the first time I read it I assumed it's some nazi thing and had 0 doubt about it.
