How were they trying to justify that statement?

Anecdotal, but I've never had a teacher tell me why Wikipedia wasn't a good source. Similarly, I've never had a teacher educate students on how to properly use resources like Wikipedia as a starting point for sources. All my peers and I heard was "Wikipedia is bad, never use it, it's not reliable, don't trust anything from it."

I wish I had been taught why and how earlier, but I had to learn why and how myself.

Future proofing an Internet line doesn't make much sense to me. If a higher speed plan is available, I'd just upgrade my plan if the need arises, save money in the meantime.

You could really change US to North America here

It's not often that I can saturate a 1Gbps line, unless you have a large household I don't see much point in going over 1Gbps right now. Though I'm sure there are some exceptions.

I always get ants in my bathroom, there's no sugar in my bathroom.

Whether real or not, it is a joke about malicious compliance creating this funny placement. It could very well be real malicious compliance. That's a very fitting place for this meme

Pretty sure it's a joke about the placement, not a serious assessment

Companies need to understand what I was told as a kid. Whatever you post on the public internet, is there for anyone to find and use. Trying to fight scraping means preventing your users from accessing the website as well

They do indeed. I'd use my iPad for media much more often if this weren't the case
