Doesn't mean displayport can't be used there.

If the tv maker wanted to not pay licensing fees, they could put a displayport on the thing. But they don't. Their call.

That's not the point of my comment, the point is that whatever hdmi is, it's got very healthy competition, so there's no real reason for anti-trust stuff

But displayport exists, is widely used and is free?

I'm pretty sure that's kinda exactly what happened though, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just that no one thought to add a logo because engineers don't care about shit like that (at least a lot of them don't)

It's not like that makes the whole thing go away

Just tell me the root issue is capitalism and that it's the root of all evil so we can move on

Well, if the point was to show that YouTube containe a massive amount of information, I think whatever the answer would be would convey it at least somewhat well

I don't think even the combined power of all the phones in the plane would be enough to cause interference for anyone

The phone's modem is not powerful enough, it takes a couple watts at most, which is tiiny compared to what a cell tower can output

How do you know that's not part of the plan?

Also, the president can't address the "root cause" or "capitalism", that's the domain of Congress.

Yeah it's not ironic at all, they won't be conscripted in Israel
