Can someone explain the context? (I'm aware of the Titanic part)

This is a community for a club based in North London, Tottenham Hotspur F.C., commonly referred to as Spurs.

Currently, we do not have many users actively using this platform, but with the Reddit API changes and Lemmy slowly getting popular, things might change.

Let's try to expand our community on this platform as well!

Pixel 6A. I like the Stock OS & the camera of the phone. Got it for very cheap as well.

It's live now, just updated it today. Definitely looks more polished now!

"Tapsoba, van de Ven and one more CB in the list club will decide for the best option in the coming weeks."

With keeper position sorted, it seems like the club has been focusing on Maddison, Tapsoba & van de Ven. They're not world beaters but are shrewd signings which fit into Ange's playstyle. I would be genuinely excited to see Madders play for us, have lacked a creative player like him since the departure of Eriksen. Poor Kane has to create & attack all by himself.

Jerboa lacks a lot of customization features but hopefully it keeps improving. Sync was my absolutely favourite though and if LJ can replicate those features in the lemmy app it'll be a no-brainer for me to use Sync.

This is excellent news!

I prefer the mobile website over that app. It works, yes, but I really don't like the UI and UX. I hope we start getting more alternatives and Jebroa also keeps improving!

It's not always better but you need a minimum number of user base to discuss things. I follow subreddits like r/soccer where a lot of discussions take place among fans of different clubs. If there's only 10-15 people discussing it, I might have to stick with reddit :/

Marketing needs to be done from the instances' end. It's the communities that run reddit, migrating most of them won't be an easy task.

With how good the third party apps were, probably yes, to be very honest.

I love the browser version of lemmy but the app available simply isn't good enough. I hope the third party reddit app devs make one for lemmy as well!
