There’s a legal eagle vid that explains the math:

RIP Jake. He looks like he was a good snuggler

Why are they even remaking this? I’m still waiting for the film adaptation of Glamorama which could be fantastic.

I don’t have wide feet but I love the brand Camper. A lot of their shoes have a wide style toe - I’ve been told they can look like clown shoes but I don’t care. It’s a good brand with quality shoes that make unique styles IMO

When are they coming for the board of directors and shareholders?

Last time I called them, it was because I got home late and my backdoor window was shattered. I had recently broke up with an unstable person, so I phoned the cops the next day just to make a report.

They called my ex, who initially denied it at first and tried to say I was a meth dealer or something. Eventually, the cop said she admitted doing it and asked if I wanted to press charges. I declined.

I reconnected with her years later in 2021 during the pandemic. It did not end well yet again, but at least no one got hurt and no property was destroyed this time around.

Buying them some food I think is the compromise here.

Welp that doesn’t quite matter now does it? Lol

I feel like his announcements are just shock and awe to grab headlines. It’s all stupid. Wrestling wife lady got picked for DOE today right…

I agree all of this would make for a great reality TV show though.

I always kinda wanted to play D&D but never did. Are LLMs advanced enough to be dungeon masters yet? Or is that a dumb question lol

The advice that I live by is that we can only be so lucky as to outlive our pets. It’s part of the burden of pet ownership. Besides, if we pass before they do, who would take care of them as good as we had?!

The above is easier said than done I’m sure. I’m saying this as someone with 2 seniors dogs. One is scheduled for surgery next Tuesday to remove a mast cell tumor. Trying to reconcile in my head how hard it will be to lose him…

Sorry didn’t mean to bring up my own personal pet stuff here but this struck a nerve. I hope you can find peace with your loss friend.

Just watched a YouTube doc about the psychological effects of isolation and learned about this poor child. Really messed up stuff.

I watched Possession(1981) for the first time last night and holy heck was that a mindf*ck of a trip. I had heard great things about it and how it had a cult following but I went in blind otherwise. Loved almost everything about it, very surreal and the film itself contorts to things I can’t even describe by the end - solid 8/10

I also viewed Jacob’s Ladder(1990) last week and that was a wild ride as well!

Anyone have any personal favs or recommendations? I’m not a horror fan by default but just trying to watch some gems I’ve missed during the spooky season 🎃

Replacing an old mini fridge (self.nostupidquestions)
submitted 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) by Lifecoach5000 to c/nostupidquestions

I have a 24 year old mini fridge that’s still alive and kicking. It’s a model that actually also has a freezer compartment.

I’ve been thinking about replacing it - especially since the freezer portion no longer works. But I was also curious how much more energy efficient fridge tech has gotten in the past 20 years? Like would I make up the cost of a new mini fridge pretty quickly based off the less power consumption?

I actually have one of those electricity monitors hooked up to it logging the data and I’m still kinda researching - but thought hey I’ll just ask c/nostupidquestions and maybe someone here might know right off the dome! Thanks in advance

Sources say the suspect fired shots at police. Dallas police have confirmed the suspect is dead.

After accidentally sitting on my favorite pair today and destroying them, it got me wondering how many pair of shades I’ve owned in my lifetime.

I’m just gonna go with a round number and say about 50. I only buy cheap sunglasses btw
