No Mitsubishi dealer near me, unfortunately. The mirage was the first car I considered. I don't mind getting a car from somewhere far away, but I'd have nowhere to get warranty service unless I drove 3 hours each time.

I had a Versa as a rental a few years ago, I think it's too basic for me for the new price.

I appreciate your suggestions. I'm going today to check out a Toyota Carolla.

I have an Anbernic 35xx, that I use a lot. I bought it mostly for playing Gameboy/SNES games. Form factor is pretty close to the OG Gameboy, price is low enough that I chuck it in backpacks and pockets without a worry, and it plays 16 bit game systems nearly perfectly w/GarlicOS.

The only thing I don't like is the L/R buttons. They are loose and rattle if you shake the device, and make a loud click when you use them.

That's a really good deal for a car right now, even a car like the versa that sells new for under 20k. I got hit by a pickup this morning and am likely going to need to buy a new car in a hurry. I would take that deal in a second.

I usually prefer to buy a new econobox vs spending more on a used SUV or whatever. Unfortunately there really aren't many cheap econoboxes left. Even the cheapest cars are only available in higher trim levels, bringing them well over $20k.

Anyone have any cheap new car suggestions?

A way to jump to the next comment within a level. Infinity had a big button to jump to the next top level comment, and the reddit web page you can click on the colored bar that aligns the comment levels to jump to the next comment.

That was fascinating and depressing.

We should nationalize the big tech companies, or at least mandate that they operate on open protocols. There is no good reason to allow these mega tech companies to keep making profits off the back of the value that is almost entirely created by the users. Especially when making those profits makes the product worse for the very users that make it's existence possible.

Nebula is a creator owned streaming service. I haven't used it, but a lot of my favorite YouTube creators upload to it first. It's not really a replacement for YouTube because there isn't an ad supported tier. It's more used as a way for creators who already have an audience to get a fair revenue split on a subscription service.

I think we need some smaller midrange cards for people who want to do smaller builds and are willing to give up a little bit of performance.

That said, I don't think I would buy a smaller card. Being able to play games with my GPU fans barely running is nice. If the cooler was smaller the fans would have to run harder. I mostly play less graphically intense games at high frame rates and appreciate not having my GPU screaming all the time.

Calibre-web is my favorite library management software, but it doesn't completely replace Calibre for me. Calibre-web is only related to Calibre in that it uses the same library format and uses Calibre's ebook conversion tool.

Calibre is nice to have with Calibre-web if only to repair a corrupted library. Calibre also has a lot of tools to fix problems within ebook files, plus a good plugin ecosystem.
