This makes Ally bad deal. With case it is 739, that's 200 USD more comparing 512 GB version.

Advanced user could already do this if they wanted while non advanced users won't even know it is there. Maybe Valve is testing updating steam deck (non gaming part) without going to desktop mode. If u never go to desktop mode u never update Linux apps and drivers. Could also possibly mean that new steamdeck os iso is in the works (v3.5)
