What you need to understand is that people have different sources of information based on multiple different characteristics like native language and religion and those who share similar views tend to fall in favor of their let's say "colleagues" because other side of the river even if it better and right still considered to be rival and therefore untrustworthy and bad.
Also to notice, it is still Israel who actually shells Gaza with rockets while not all citizens escaped the city. So, people know there are rockets being targeted at people and it is easier for them to believe that one of the rockets might focus hospital.
