As a non American, what is the concept of for profit prisons?

I won’t argue about the police brutality because it exists, but the problem is deeper than that. When the law can’t stop you from stealing, nothing can!

Stealing techniques are too elaborate these days, literally 10 minutes in the streets is enough for your bike to disappear

Because sanctions are extremely light here in France. On the news recently a Doctor got beaten bloody, and the aggressor walked out free.

In France self defense is frowned upon by authorities sadly.

If they really wanna do Paris a service they should start by dealing with all the pickpockets and bike thief first. My girlfriend has had 4 bikes stolen so far.

Religion isn’t something you keep at home, religion is a belief. Insulting their beliefs hardly qualifies as tolerance!

Does being secular warrant being an asshole?

Religion is important to them, respect it

Basic human respect is a default mode, nothing to be earned here.

I’m not gonna start offending you and insulting you just because you didn’t earn my respect.

How about we respect their beliefs instead of being assholes?
