That's what I thought, but when searching for it from my Lemmy.film account I can't find it, using the url or the exclamation point.
Thanks! And yep, it says "You are who you choose to be" :)
I completely agree! And I don't think we've really started to see people leave reddit yet, that'll happen when the 3PAs stop working
For me it was Relay. Absolutely perfect in every way, and the gesture navigation was so intuitive. Currently using jerboa for Lemmy and excited to see where it goes or what other apps become available for it
World here too on the Jerboa app, I'm subscribed to a BUNCH of communities in other instances and can browse and comment on them all with my world profile. Still kinda confused how it all works but I'm liking it so far
Relay for me :) super sad to see it go, but I'm using jerboa now. It's no Relay (yet!), BUT miles ahead of the official reddit app :)
Me me me! I was on reddit for 10 years. Honestly excited for Lemmy. It really reminds me of the "feel" reddit had when I joined. Hundreds of upvotes on posts, with a few in the thousands. Not needing to refresh the front page 100 times a day to see all the new content. No one really knowing what they're doing XD I am going to miss a community for every little thing, but that'll come with time.
I'm trying to comment and have a few ideas for posts I'll submit. Gotta keep the content and comments coming, I would love to see this overtake reddit over the next 5-10 years cuz I'm in it for the long haul lol
There are also free ones, BUT they're a lot harder to get into, and a lot of times don't have as much content or aren't managed as well. They do exist if you're patient though, I managed to get into a pretty good one a while back.
I knew what this was going to be before even clicking it lol, if you hadn't posted it I would've.
Lol my first account was on Lemmy.film O.o
Ok cool just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, thanks so much! I made it last night and it seems like I can only now search "lightsabers" and it pops up when searching from the film instance, so that's progress! Guess it'll take a bit longer for the links to work in other instances too or something. Thanks again!
