Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure if I'll ever truly learn another language, but I'll be sure to remember this just in case I'm in a situation where I'd like to!

Tbh I just dunno what translation software to use?

Id like something that worked as a screen overlay/reader kinda thing?

Copy and pasting is an inconvenience.

I actually just lurk rn so it's not too big of a deal but yeah.

Yeah I've given it a try and honestly I probably won't use it long term because well... It's all in Chinese and as cool as it would be to learn a new language (any language really) I don't have the time or energy to do that.

In my short experience there's a lot of lesbians on there, and "skin" gets shown quite a bit. I saw someone pole dancing in a jinx cosplay.

There's some cool things the app does I wish we had an English alternative, it's like tiktok combined with Pinterest? So there's better category sorting and you can save stuff in collections.

I also really have enjoyed the comments from Chinese people. It's really fun hearing their stories. I honestly sometimes forget, with how much we talk about China bad in America, that they're just people too? They're curious about our pets, they want to see what food we eat. Someone had hundreds of Chinese people try grilled cheese Sandwhiches.

Its a cultural exchange in the digital age that I've never seen before and honestly... I hope it sticks for that alone.

It's kinda pathetic lol. How is it so hard for people to understand that maybe the best time to talk about problems affecting you is not when someone else is talking about problems affecting them?

I switched to opensuse tumbleweed about 3 months ago and I have zero complaints. Yast is such a powerful too you can avoid using the terminal for many things, and it being rolling release makes it easier to stay up to date. Plus it comes with snapper reconfigured so if anything breaks you can rollback in about 5 minutes. I've had to learn some new things, and a few online games don't work according to proton db but I've yet to run into a game problem on a game I want to play.

Wym I've recently started using Linux and I've had exactly one issue and it was entirely my lack of knowledge and took like 5 mins to fix.

Yeah cause wearing a hate symbol you don't know and a band t-shirt you don't know are totally causing the same level of harm.

Is pocket casts usable on pc? The "pocket" part of the name makes me think no, but I used Google podcast to listen to stuff on my pc primarily. It's a pain to track podcasts I want to listen to and am actively listening to because every podcast company has their own website.

Can we go without? Yes. We'll have mood swings like most people when they have hormone fluctuations and depending on the person depression, anxiety, generally feeling yucky. Ect.

For how long? I mean technically forever? Our bodies still produce hormones naturally (with some surgical exceptions) we won't die but might be miserable enough to want to.

Can you be denied? State/insurance dependant tbh. Where I live hell no, in a red state yeah definitely.

And same with non-cooperative docs, some just won't help. (for anyone looking for help look into planned parenthood. They're great and do hormones for trans people.)

Anyway I've never had a shortage bc hormones are pretty common for cis people too, they just don't know or don't understand when they're taking hormones.
