They’re rich enough to easily hire a good hitman.

And have the motivation to silence this guy before the entire country is calling for Boeing to have their corporate charter revoked

I feel like “risk of door blowing off mid flight” or “25% of oxygen masks don’t work” is something the public is entitled to know about

Does it even matter when data brokers already know everything about you and happily sell that info?

People freak about national IDs while happily giving all their info to websites like amazon or facebook. It’s insane.

It’s also techinally illegal to use for identification unless it’s being used for tax purposes. Yet so many people illegally ask for it and barely anyone protests. https://www.justice.gov/opcl/overview-privacy-act-1974-2020-edition/ssn

I never knew you couldn’t laminate them? Why would they do something like that?

I’m still proud to be considered a 21 year old russian man named Vladimer online!!! (I am not even close to any of those but my twitter replies insist i’m wrong about that actually)

In addition to this, the government is working to ban any news outlet that disagrees with them. They’re starting with “foreign” outlets like RT and TikTok, but they’ll soon move to anything that doesn’t toe the party line.

Democracy is dead.

Awesome. How do I port this ability over to an American PC?

[–] Kalysta 3 points 8 months ago

What? Someone making sense about the social evolution of humans? Not on my internet!

[–] Kalysta 4 points 8 months ago

What do you mean? They fail all the time. Fail to secure doors. Fail to have working oxygen masks. Fail to warn pilots about a system that points the nose of the plane down constantly…

The Gulf of Tonkin incident being created by the US was a conspiracy theory until it wasn’t.

Not every “conspiracy theory” is wrong. Sometimes people in charge are actually trying to cover something up. It’s not insane to be skeptical of an official line until it’s backed up with proof.

Lizard people, however, don’t exist.
