If you only find that mildly infuriating, them you're a more mild manner person than I am.
Similar experience sometimes with snaps. Some snaps take way too long to open. I have taken to just manually installing .Deb files for applications, but I will just ship and switch to Debian next.
That's an American idea that there are different races. The term is obsolete in a biological sense. There are different connections of color, but that's not sufficient to constitute different races.
I remember the first mission of hotline Miami. You take the phone call and learn that you are supposed to kill some people. You learn how to use your guns. You kill a bunch of baddies, quite badass. Then at the end of the mission, the screen starts swaying more than usually, and the protagonist vomits in an alley. Of course, he just killed for the first time, overwhelming. Makes him quite human, more than many other protagonists, despite the pixel art style.
Now I wish I was bald.

Start with something generic. Maybe not Ubuntu because of their recent hijinks. But something like Debian or Linux Mint. Just because it makes troubleshooting so much easier when because you can Google problems more easily.
