I'm more concerned about this loser parent going around stalking 16 year olds being 16 year olds.

This whole story certainly inspires one to despise technology, however.

Battle for the Lost Planet, Alien Private Eye and the star studded Pandemonium!

I had a 7 year old girl brought to the hospital I worked out of at the time, while I was employed as a crisis intervention worker.

Flipping out, screaming, punching, kicking, biting, as they try to secure her on the stretcher. She kicks her mother in the face in the process, bad bloody nose, possibly broken, blood starts pouring out, 7 year old starts giggling and pointing at her mother as this happens.

Ya got me what the answer is to these situations.

I worked crisis intervention for a few years. I have arrived to probably a dozen or so suicides. About a half dozen left these huge manifestos.

Every. Single. One. Got thrown away, 2 had family members toss it in front of me. Turns out your loved ones do not often want to read the crazy shit you killed yourself over, especially when it ultimately changed nothing. One individual had 1000+ pages written, the family wanted nothing to do with it.

I'm not pro-suicide for anything. Most of these people are just depressed. It's not resolve when you're giving up on life.

Stuck between mental illness, stupid fucking crypto bro type of sorts or both.

Either way, loaded with pop culture references and dumb as hell.

Arrested Development does not approve. Such a underrated hiphop group. They lived together communally for a bit!

Sons of Steel is absolutely insane, btw

I did but I do not remember the sequels at all.

This movie lead to me having a pet ferret at one point as well, lol!

It was one of my favorite movie as a kid, I use to get strep throat every 3-4 months as a child until my tonsils were removed. I rented Beastmaster, Puma man (riffed on by MST3K later) and the Superman (Christopher Reeve) movies over and over again on VHS, ha.

New to VS, just discovered them after ordering Surf II off Amazon some months ago. Can't wait!

Rest easy Mojo!

"YOU CAN'T KILL ME! I WILL NOT DIE!"

What is a good album by them for next time?

I always listened to random tracks by them, never a full playthrough on an album though.

Phillies Triple A affiliate

Ah bloody hell, Rest In Peace Shane Macgowan. :(

The saxophone and guitar solo in the song I've always enjoyed. Always brought back a lot of nostalgia from a past relationship too.

One of my favorite 80s songs, supposedly about the UK miners strike/riots against Thatcher.

If anyone does not know, the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs are the Phillies Triple A affiliate, an play at Coca Cola Park in Allentown, PA.

Would anyone care if I posted game information/updates here next season or should a separate forum be created?

I'm fine with either, just wanted to ask everyone first. Thanks!

I have been taking shrooms for over a decade now and I think I'm finally out of movies to watch, so I was hoping to crowd source some recommendations here and maybe even throw together a film list for fellow Lemmy psychonauts.

I tend to focus on comedies - I've seen all Mel Brooks films (except Silent Movie), Monty Python, all things MST3K/Elvira/Svenghoulie. The classics like Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Dazed & Confused, as well as, "good" B movies/flops like Tank Girl.

That being said, I've seen a ton of cerebral films too, along the lines of Waking Life for example.

All I can think of to watch right now is Rango, History of the world part 2 and Freakazoid season 2....these are mostly choices out of desperation at this point, ha (except Rango). Maybe Animaniacs (new & old)? Cloud Atlas?

So, if you have any obscure comedy recommendations, cerebral films, documentaries, let em rip! (To paraphrase Leslie Nielsen). I'll compile a master list here after a month (?) of postings.

Thanks!

"Seems like the more I think I know The more I find I don't Every answer opens up So many questions Anarchy sounds good to me Then someone asks, "Who'd fix the sewers?" "Would the rednecks just play king Of the neighborhood?"

How many liberators Really want to be dictators? Every theory has its holes When real life steps in"

Every year, this song seems more prescient.

A wayward swine's time on the run has come to an end on Halloween, as 'Kevin Bacon' the pig has returned to his farm in Gettysburg, with a bit of persuasion, of course.

After being on the run for nearly two weeks, owner Chelsea Rumbaugh confirmed that the pig was caught on Oct. 31 around 12:15 p.m. after walking into his pen, where he was found asleep.
