I would recommend checking out: https://www.budgetbytes.com/

Lots of straightforward recipes, and they all have price breakdowns for the ingredients, cost per dish and cost per serving. There is even a category for meals under $10. You do have to keep in mind those are the local prices for the blog author and I've found it can vary for my region, but it is still a helpful guideline.

People with plans to drive into or through Ottawa on Highway 417 this weekend should probably find another way to get there.

Super happy with this trade, Kubalik was a very streaky player who bounced around the lineup a lot, plus the lower of the two firsts is wizardy by Yzerman, the extension numbers are great as well!

Hearing Red Wings will place Filip Zadina on unconditional waivers at 12 noon ET today for purposes of mutual contract termination.

Zadina is foregoing the $4.56 million remaining on his deal, seeking a fresh start elsewhere. Huge courage to bet on himself.

In my opinion there were no major surprises this year.

Winners:

Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy: Kris Letang, Pittsburgh Penguins

E.J. McGuire Award of Excellence: Connor Bedard, Regina Pats (WHL)
Frank J. Selke Trophy: Patrice Bergeron, Boston Bruins
Hart Memorial Trophy: Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers
Jack Adams Award: Jim Montgomery, Boston Bruins
James Norris Memorial Trophy: Erik Karlsson, San Jose Sharks
King Clancy Memorial Trophy: Mikael Backlund, Calgary Flames
Lady Byng Memorial Trophy: Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings

Ted Lindsay Award: Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers
Vezina Trophy: Linus Ullmark, Boston Bruins

Full trade, per sources:
To #NHLBruins: Rights to RFAs Ian Mitchell and Alec Regula.
To #Blackhawks: Taylor Hall, rights to UFA Nick Foligno.

No salary retained by Boston, this represents a pure salary dump to clear $6 million off Bruins' books.

This whole offseason is shaping up to be brutal for the Flames. Sounds like Toffoli, Backlund, and Hanfin are also all going to be leaving.

God this is so frustrating to see happen, instead of having any sort of backbone the NHL is just going to fold to the bigots and several other cause nights are going to be collateral damage. This is a terrible step backwards for the NHL, and really makes it feel like the game is only inclusive when it is convenient to them.

Currently playing as a warforged circle of the moon druid in a 5e campaign. It is a custom built campaign about the invention and development of airship capabilities. It's my first time ever playing an RPG and I've been having a blast with it.

Flames update: CGY recently made a big pitch, rolled out the red carpet ($) to try to re-sign C Elias Lindholm.

CGY is waiting on a response from Lindholm and haven't been given definitive answer yet. But general league speculation is he's leaning toward not re-signing w/ CGY.

With NHL free agency on the horizon, it's believed the 2023-24 salary cap ceiling will be set at $83.5M -- an indication the NHL and NHLPA won't negotiate a higher increase than the $1M called for in their MOU.

I’ve heard Blake Wheeler’s days in Winnipeg are numbered. Still a chance he moves but most likely option is a buyout.

According to @CapFriendly his $8.25 million cap hit would be $2.75 million for two seasons.

OC Transpo is planning a multi-week communications campaign to inform transit riders about the launch of the Trillium Line, with messaging targeting hybrid workers, suburbanites and tourists.
