most likely yes.

My point is, if youtube customizes the feeds based on the IPs, then the youtube accounts used are not really "fresh" but there's already some data entered into the profiles upon their creation.

fresh YouTube account

change their location to a random city in the US

yeah but you're still bound to IP addresses. I was under the impression Youtube used those for their profiling

Don’t use Wikipedia as a source if you want to come off as serious. Thats like, middle school level knowledge, at least in our schools.

I was spot on.

Do you actually don't know, or is this step one of a contrarian about to start their brilliant exposé?

Lets assume this is sincere and you don't have access to a search engine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tankie

edit: 2 years on Lemmy and you don't know what a tankie is, lucky you

I'll take a non-maga right wing user over a tankie any day. It's not even close.

container as in docker?

I know very little about this but I've used gluetun and it's great

https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun

it supports a lot of VPN providers

Not the amount because it already shows the downvotes for the post, but yeah it could indicate I downvoted them in the past (I did)

The red is gone now on this particular post. But it happens quite often

Je prends concience que je veux pas subir Trump pendant 4 ans.
Je crois que je vais faire l'autruche en ce qui le concerne.

Pas de filtre sur Lemmy, mais on peut utiliser ublock et ça semble fonctionner

any info on this?

edit: I just saw there's already a post

Linux only (I think), only between desktop clients, and it requires a server.

In the short time I've tested it, everything worked.

Hi!

I like to have some preferred websites showing up as big icons in a new tab (4 rows of 8 icons each).

I had them pinned and rearranged to my liking but today they're all gone.

Before I try to recreate it as it was, maybe there is a good extension for a startpage? All I need is some big favicons (not any other feature like weather).

edit: I'm going through the extensions but can't find one that I like. Is it possible to make a backup of the pinned websites so if Firefox resets them I can just bring them back? It only happened twice in a few years but it takes a while to restore.

solved (I think): unlock any 2 variants of 1st ship of each race (not the ones on the vanilla cruisers page of course) to unlock type B of vanilla cruisers.

To unlock type B you need to win with type C.
To unlock type C you need to go to sector 8 with type B.

So there has to be another way to unlock B and/or C first.

This mod is incredible and deserves a place on Lemmy to be discussed.

I'm not very knowledgeable about the game, nor am I spending that much time on Lemmy. If someone more qualified wants to take over the sub they can contact me.

Rules are the same as everywhere: don't be an ass, don't insult people. Discuss only the game.
Non serious posts are allowed (if other members of this massive community agree).

Will I find out the second I hit "create" that there's already a FTL Multiverse page on Lemmy? probably
