there's a limit to how many things you can actively care about and it's logical that people will care more about events that are nearer to them

i have the 14 inch Pro and it does not have a better battery than the air. It lasts maybe 8 hours at most.

If the non-critical parts were scriptable like the infotainment system, then I could get behind it. Kind of like android I guess where you're free to tinker, but you have to enable developer mode first so regular people can't accidentally break something.

Do you really think the average Joe has the knowledge to develop safe software for a car? Some things are okay to be proprietary imo, maybe with open documentation but not source.

 

I'm looking through the options and this doesn't seem possible but surely there's a way and I'm just doing something wrong? I don't subscribe to any communities, so my homepage is always empty when I open the app and I need to manually change to Local. I'd like to just default to all instance posts on startup.
