Isn’t the WiFi free? It’s free for a reason. You aren’t forced to use it.

I’m with you. The title doesn’t make sense.

I would be too. Why would you write another article after the app was taken down after the first time? The article is now useless because it doesn’t add any value to users, so it was all for nothing.

Because they wrote an article about it (again)

My iPad Air 3rd gen screen started malfunctioning, so in January 2022, I bought the iPad 9th gen because I didn't want to part with my Logitech keyboard case.

The first thing I noticed was the screen's reflectiveness. While a matte screen protector helps, it doesn't completely replicate the antireflective screen of the Air 3. The difference is noticeable when the two iPads are side by side but it’s not a lot.

Another issue is that the screen protector isn't as smooth as glass, so you can hear it when swiping in a quiet room. However, since I mostly use my Logitech keyboard with a trackpad, I rarely touch the screen. It's not a major issue, but worth mentioning. There might be better screen protectors available.

Performance-wise, I did not notice any significant differences for my daily activities. However, my iPad has recently started slowing down and freezing when watching videos and using Safari after about 2.5 years. Backing up and restoring it has helped. Maybe you could try it, and see if it helps, if you haven’t already.

I chose the 9th gen primarily because it fits my existing case perfectly and has performed well for browsing and watching movies for over two years.

I would recommend the 9th gen as it will get longer OS updates compared to the iPad Air 3 and you can use your existing stand. But you might have to replace both in 2-3 years.

Every public WiFi is like this. iCloud relay doesn’t work on any airport or airplane WiFi. I need to always turn it off and other ‘hide IP’ settings. I have a Target with a dead zone and I’m sure T&C are the same. I just use it when I need it and don’t auto-connect. Walmart needs precise location to pick up from the app. Sam’s club app needs precise location for checkout form the app. Mcd app needs my precise location to give me deals. I wouldn’t say this is asshole design. Our regulation let them design it this way. I turn off my NextDNS and iCloud relay when I’m having issues and then turn back on. Nothing else you can do about it, apart from not using the WiFi or app, unfortunately.

That’s always been a thing to prevent bots / new accounts created just to spam or ask basic questions without searching the sub. You will be able to comment but you need some karma to post. If you are a regular user of the sub, you’ll most likely not make a post about a basic question discussed everyday in the sub.

They probably don’t. Computer programming is now just called AI. Tired of seeing everything claimed to be run by AI.

We still have that in India. When I was younger I used to be confused about my parents depositing money in a post office.

Did you reach out to the seller to confirm? In my experience, if the listing has expired which happens when only one 1 item is being sold, eBay doesn’t show all the info after the sale. I try to look up old orders and this happens a lot. The sellers are usually responsive and care about their ratings so they will provide any listing clarification or even a refund before you can leave a negative review. eBay is also good with buyer protection if the sellers refuses a refund. I suspect eBay cannot change their reviews so they are giving time for the sellers to resolve any issues.

This isn’t helping their labor conditions though. It’s just helping companies like Amazon to sell the same junk at a higher price, as Amazon sellers buy the same products from Alibaba, and eliminate competition.

So when is your Costco not busy? Genuine question as I have gone there mid-day during the week and it will still be packed. One day I went 30 min before close and the parking lot was still full.
