14 years, here. From the Digg exodus.

The reason is simple. Misinformation sticks with conservatives more than liberals. With liberals, someone posts evidence that the story isn't true and the whole thing fizzles out. If someone tries posting counter evidence in a conservative forum, they get banned.

There's no money in trying to push misinformation to liberals.

Then wasn't abolition the will of god, too?

If we teach kids that slavery was evil, wouldn't that also be the will of god?

Rome didn't convert to Christianity until the 4th century.

We acknowledge that the way we divide ethnic genetic variety into different races is a social construct, entirely invented by humans. But denying that race exists at all does no favors to the victims of racism.

There's a little known Aesop Fable called "The Clown and the Countryman" that illustrates something close to this

I'm sorry, no. There are so many problems with Kant's categorical imperative. It comes from a tradition of trying to impose simplistic rules onto an inherently complex and messy subject. The Categorical Imperative would just cause misery if it were applied universally, which defeats the whole purpose of morality.

Morality isn't about rules or dictating what people can't do. It's about promoting well-being.

I also believe that you think you're joking.

Tech jobs are absolutely a hostile wotk environment for women. There are way too many guys in the tech community that believe women can't be trusted to understand anything about technology.

Just like you believe that she can't be trusted to know anything about her own work and life experience.
