Absolutely adore Michael Marshall Smith. Spares and Only Forwards in particular

His Returnal video is one of my favourite game videos of all time. Great game aswell if you haven't tried it

Specifically shizzle though. No shizzle and you can just leave

Just started using Jerboa over the last week or so. Definitely filling the Reddit void and so far the community has been lovely here.

Couple of things with the app:

  • Scrolling to load more posts seems very inconsistent, sometimes I have to scroll back up.

  • Sometimes when I click on a post I just get a black screen instead of comments, and this seems very dependent on where I click on the screen. Not really figures this out yet but seems a bit temperamental.

Anyone else noticed any QoL or bugs to raise?

Really excited to try Rainworld aswell! Looks great

Got a couple of mates playing Cyberpunk for the first time at the minute and it still seems pretty janky.

I think for me, no matter how much they improve it, it will never be the game they originally said it would be. I was expecting a branching open ended rpg in a simulated world and instead we just got sci-fi themed GTA.

Faith in CDPR died on the release of that game.

I love Death Stranding so much, seems to be a very marmite game with people but if it clicks with you it really is something special.

My first was Berserk tankobons, slowly purchasing all the Deluxe versions now. The art is so good on the larger pages

Yeah they smashed it. How a small Dev team has made the best battlefield game of the decade is kind of staggering

Is there a problem with using this as a support community in the early days of Refit migration? It has a large player base and clearly people in here are willing to help.

It would seem a pretty helpful thing to do for the platform as a whole.

Yeah I think the high quality indie game side of things is where the Steam Deck really shines. I've got so used to high FPS on my gaming PC that dropping to 60Hz on the big triple A games kinda sucks.

Plus playing these indie games gives a massive longevity boost in the battery department if you set your deck right

Not a triple A game but Hades has all of the above and is truly fantastic. Not open world vibes but massively replayble.

Hollow Knight is another absolute gem and one of my favourite games the last decade.

For me the game never got more difficult untill I started doing Nightmare Dungeons in Tier 4. The problem with this is that the entire overworld just feels pointless, there is no challenge in it.

That said it is early days and I'm not going to write off the game yet, it's an ok start but alot of the core needs some serious work to keep me playing
