Localmonero/Agoradesk trader here.

Every payment method and country have its own market price. For an example central exchanges doesn't accept Paypal, Cashapp, gift cards, Cash at ATM etc. Most of them only accepts bank transfers. So you're comparing apples to oranges.

Even if you compare bank transfer offers you have to keep in your mind; some banks blacklist central exchange's bank details, so you can't make money transfer and/or it has much less strict KYC which is more privacy friendly.

Also you can benefit from OTC advantages like there's someone can help you directly and/or can offer custom solutions for you.

Maybe be a bit transparent to your customers. Looks like scam.

These services have usually stricter KYC requirements than regular CEXes. They often ask for source of funds.

Also their site states they accept SWIFT but when I try to buy the payment method didn't appear. That was really annoying

I'm already trader at Localmonero but sometimes I need to centralized exchanges to find liquidity otherwise I stay away from these exchanges.

Yes I double checked the email address, it came from Kraken.

They asked for "screenshots of the exchanges to where the Monero transfers are sent to" (from Kraken wallet).

Kraken asking me for where I sent the coins and my bank statement and I was told that if I don't respond within week they may lock my account.

It doesn't make sense, I already making the transfers from my own account and moreover they asking for where I sent the coins. That's stupid.

Gladly I used Monero for my most transactions, so they won't able verify or track me.
