Metroid 2. Didn't know anything about the game as we bought it used ao the first metroid scared the crap put of me, but then I had a total blast

I got mislead by IGN's review of the original and expected a dynamic experience that reflected the ramifications of my actions, but got a series of prompted binary choices with diet-action RPG elements. Phew, that was such a let down
