There is a single family house in my home town that has the same problem though it's been more like 3 crashes in 10 years. It's located on a 3 way intersection with a traffic light. There's a guardrail and a big yellow sign but cars keep crashing into it and the city refuses to buy the property. If i lived there I'd build a large ramp so cars would simply fly over the house
Reelected in 1984 when the national unemployment rate was 10%
If you have PVC drains (probably unless very old) most likely you can unscrew the fittings by hand, very simple. Take the trap off (the curved part) and just pull out the clog. It's not hard at all, take photos as you dismantle it if you're worried about remembering how it goes back together.
So I guess you can say the Taliban declared war on Christmas?
Tough to call. Prices are high right now, who knows when they'll come down. I look at it like this: my sister just bought a house for $120k and her mortgage payment is less than what she was paying for renting half a house. If the real estate market bottoms out tomorrow, her house value may drop and her mortgage payment stays the same. If she had stayed in the rental her rent would have stayed the same. After the lease expired the rent might have increased but the mortgage stays the same.
Did you try TRON? I wonder how many youngsters know the origin of the movie title
There are two causes for tinnitus. Your brain is hearing sounds that aren't there and poor blood circulation at your ear. I was 29 when I developed tinnitus after scuba diving in deep water. Ginkgo biloba helped me in a few hours after taking it. It's cheap and available at drug stores if you're interested in trying it
Tastes like chicken
Pfft. Try typing in four pages of code out of Byte magazine just to have your mom cruise over with the vacuum cleaner and make it all dissappear
Huh, that's odd the link is blocked for me too and I don't have uBlock. It can be found on Tubi but for whatever reason the graphic for it has changed and "vs the devil" isn't shown making it tough to spot. I had to look it up on the JustWatch app and start it from there.
My strategy for this year was to keep a text file on my phone where I kept a list of the people I intended to buy gifts for. Throughout the year whenever a good gift idea occurred to me I'd update the list. While this might not be what you had in mind as avoiding consumption, my plan was to give a gift that was useful as well as thoughtful. I don't want to give someone a cheap blob of plastic that will end up in the trash by the end of the month just to check a name off my list. I did buy one gift certificate for a locally owned microbrewery. In years past I've made Christmas ornaments that were tailored to the recipient but no good ideas came to me this year
