There's a lesson to be learned here:

Remove lead? Industry fights it. Lead gets removed. Industry is fine.

Acid rain? Industry fights it. Sulfur dioxide emissions reduced. Industry is fine.

Hole in ozone layer? Industry fights it. PFCs removed. Industry just fine.

Global warming? Industry fights it...

I really enjoy it, but I feel like I'm starting to slow down again

This is how it goes for me and I've been playing for quite awhile. Feels like I stagnate then an "aha! moment" happens and I'm rejuvenated. Eventually I started taking lessons to improve.

Don't bother with sheet music IMO. Tabs are all you need. Learn the major open chords first, they'll get you farther along quicker than anything else. Don't fret (pun intended) if you are learning a song and it doesn't sound 100% the same.

Learning guitar takes some dedication before you feel like you're really getting it. Practice at least 30 minutes a day and it will come to you but it may be months before it sounds like music. As long as you're having fun. I tell people it's like learning to tie your shoe laces. All muscle memory. It was difficult at first but now your hands do it without you having to think about it or even look at it. Soon your hands with form those chord shapes the same way. Good luck!

The headline gives the impression it was the trains fault

Yeah I saw it reported in a few online publications all crediting Lloyd's as the source. I think it took longer to hit mainstream news because of the holidays. FYI, I didn't think it was to embarrass Russia, I'm just leary of war propaganda (remember Ghost of Kiev?) and anything click-baity. Actual news reporting/opinion/bullshit all look the same online. Nobody wants to pay for anything anymore and that doesn't help

Thanks for the info, I had never heard of it

Any news organizations besides "Lloyd's List" reporting this?

There is a single family house in my home town that has the same problem though it's been more like 3 crashes in 10 years. It's located on a 3 way intersection with a traffic light. There's a guardrail and a big yellow sign but cars keep crashing into it and the city refuses to buy the property. If i lived there I'd build a large ramp so cars would simply fly over the house

If you have PVC drains (probably unless very old) most likely you can unscrew the fittings by hand, very simple. Take the trap off (the curved part) and just pull out the clog. It's not hard at all, take photos as you dismantle it if you're worried about remembering how it goes back together.

So I guess you can say the Taliban declared war on Christmas?
