High school students should absolutely be required to read books outside of class and to suggest that it should be the teachers job to read it to you is laughable lmao
Doing research isn't a student's job?
Yeah but in the meantime a lot of people will be imprisoned or worse for committing no crimes. They won't get to see that better day
Late to the party but my hot take is you can have fun while spending under $100 on equipment (if you live in the right place). I found my board and cheap ass 5150 bindings for $40 on Facebook, boots in the dumpster but work great, helmet for 50 bucks on sale (no mips which is an issue but I'll get one later), jacket and pants I already had from handme downs.
I'm not doing back country, but I'll be damned if I'm not having fun.
Whaaaat the fuck
I feel like it's not my right to be happy unless I can impress in some way, like through work or academia. Everyone else has surpassed me and I can't impress anywhere, so I just feel like I don't deserve happiness anymore.
In Montana RCV has been voted down because it was called "California politics" funded by "deep state dark money" and would "just make voting more complicated for the average voter". Worked like a charm here
Same, and honestly it eats me away inside
Seriously? Well he could have made that more clear.
I mean, it's likely both. Apathy towards hate is still pretty bad imo, and hate is the Republican party platform. Also just saying, the economy needs some inflation and I think we're around 3% right now, which economists agree is ideal? Not an expert there tho
Yeah, because at best it just splashes in the ocean, worst it hits a city and causes mass suffering as thousands die from the impact and fallout. It's not going to end any suffering
