Move where? With what resources?

40% of people live near a coast. In the US that represents 10% of the land area.

Altadena is not living in the woods. There is not a Forrest there, yet it still burnt down.

There are blizzards in the south currently.

I don't know the stats, but I'm guessing we are going to see more and bigger tornadoes in the middle states.

Soon the only place people will live are in Caves of Steel

Go to the wedding. That is a really big deal. After that don't engage with him on politics. Maybe don't engage at all. Show up for birthdays and maybe a holiday or two. Do the 'quiet quitting' of family interaction. You aren't going to change their mind. I've been trying for 20+ years and it's just gotten worse.

That seems like an incredibly dumb idea.

Capping rent makes more housing less likely. Are you suggesting government built housing?

Not allowing one or two private equity firms to own a lions share of the market would help.

Fuck this. I don't think it likely, but what if he makes eggs cheaper. I wouldn't put it past that administration to remove all inspections, nutrition, food safety, etc requirements. That could drive prices down at the risk of health. Maybe he just decides to subsidize eggs and milk.

Would it be worth it?

Totally not connected to their recent changes to moderation policies and the backlash the employees are having.

Nothing says shut the fuck up like announcing mass layoffs.

My oldest just turned 9 and is interested in archery. I managed to find my Bear Cub compound bow from storage but it's been a long time since I did anything like this.

Looking for resources first priority is teaching safety, second would be pointers for technique. Any and all advice is appreciated.

The Wikipedia entry has weird west in it, so I guess so.

Such a good show. Loved Bruce in it.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I recently got access to some webhosting and saw you could install node.js apps. I was hoping to install node red behind some password protection to play around.

I see the getting started page has AWS and Azure, but nothing for this.

I assume I just get SSL access and use npm to install, but I'm not sure if I need to set up the environment first?

Before I go breaking things as is my usual approach, I thought I'd ask first.

TIA
