There’s a lot of options for which key to use for compose. And you can set right-alt to be that key very easily.

Well alright that seems reasonable.
I was thinking some sort of expression where it was common to say “never makes a dud” made literal since it’s a bomb factory. All I could find along those lines is a reference to a shampoo brand (“Huron”).
Either that or some kind of commentary about how bombs suck and a “successful” bomb is a terrible thing so they hate him for always making a successful killing machine. But that doesn’t seem in line with the Far Side oeuvre.
My turn to say it: i don’t get it.
Start sooner than you think, especially if you have more planned.
Because nobody wants to pay for it. “That’s easy, I’ll just do it myself”. Surprisedpikachu when it doesn’t go over as desired, but they saved a couple bucks.
The ship dimensions are correct for Enterprise NCC-1701A. That’s obviously what it is, the nacelles are pretty distinctive.

Probably, yeah. Depends on a few other things (drive age, SMART test results, how risk-averse you are…)
But at least it’s worth thinking about.
