Pocket is good for saving articles for offline reading. While I rarely need it, when I need it, it's super helpful. Also it can be used as a shared bookmarks storage. I don't share bookmarks because I don't want to mix personal bookmarks and bookmarks from work, so Pocket is useful for me.

Relay is a cool thing for one-time emails, but I rarely need it.

I have both and prefer AeroPress because of its precision and versatility (a scale and a good grinder, however, needed). Moka Pot is good too, but I use it for home latte only.

I don't get how they want make those attesters trustworthy. Any attester is installed on a user device, so its "private" key used for verdict signing can be retrieved by a bot author and used to make fake verdicts. Disregarding ethics of the proposal, it just won't work in real world.

What do you think about genetics?

Are there any arguments besides bla-bla-bla? The market just works. How is it bad or wrong?

I think the title is good. It says it's not just Sacher, but Sacher bought in Sacher hotel. That's the most authentic Sacher in the world.

That's not imperialism, that's market. Grower sells coffee for some price, then others add value to the product by transporting it, roasting it, brewing coffee etc. It's up to growers how cheap or expensive green coffee is. Coffee beans of better quality (specialty coffee) cost more.

I heard coffee is less effective if taken immediately after waiking up. That's why I wait for one and a half hour before drinking coffee.

  1. Prepare AeroPress.
  2. Weigh 230 grams of water and pour it into an empty kettle.
  3. Weigh 12 grams of coffee beans.
  4. Put the kettle on the stove.
  5. Grind the coffee.
  6. Put the coffee grounds into the AeroPress.
  7. When the kettle boils, let the water cool down a bit, it will be around the required temperature.
  8. Brew the coffee using the Hoffman's recipe (12 grams of coffee, 200 grams of water).
  9. Wait 10 minutes to get right coffee temperature.

It takes 8 minutes to make coffee and 10 minutes to cool it down to circa 50 degrees celsius.

The safest way is to try different coffees in some good coffee shops. We don't know what coffee do you like. Do you need nutty or chocolaty tastes only? Or do you like fruity notes? What do you prefer? By tasting differently roasted coffee brewed using different methods, you can find out what do you need.

It's because lemmy.world invalidated tokens. Re-login fixes the issue.
