Well most of the time there isn't any visibility. When it rains, its not problem that it is dangerous and drivers are scared to drive because it is slippery, but that visibility is 0, just look at onboards.

Or at least stop bringing crap street tracks and get real tracks for racing. Vegas, Miami, Baku, Saudi, and also shit race tracks in desert like Abu Dhabi. I bet if we remove that we would get better racing even if cars size stay the same.
Well you need a lot of energy to keep tires hot, also I think that they need to heat tires 1-2h before sessions (not sure about this) and also whole session, so those blankets are turned on a lot of time during the weekend.
I think that rule is stupid. They will save what? 230k per weekend, thats 5.3mil per season, and teams spend 135mil per season. Is that 5 mil that teams save really that important? If they really wanted to save enviroment and be "carbon neutral" they would at least try to make number of races smaller and calendar more enviroment friendly, this blanket bullshit is just PR.
Also I think that banning blankets will make races more simple in terms of strategy, every team will look for 1 stop just to avoid heating tyres on 3 laps out of the pits and losing additional 10 seconds. Its just not necessary and is pure PR for "saving" enviroment lol.
