Also I think that banning blankets will make races more simple in terms of strategy, every team will look for 1 stop just to avoid heating tyres on 3 laps out of the pits and losing additional 10 seconds. Its just not necessary and is pure PR for "saving" enviroment lol.
if you want more pit stops you can always make the tires degrade faster.
