An ultralight chair, since you no longer have a heavy round one.

You just made a food pyramid that isn't stupid.

I don't follow the last sentence of your first paragraph or the first sentence of the next. I think you're missing some detail and/or context there..

Only truly cheap if you make it yourself. That's why I commented below on the missing item of "effort".

The one thing missing from the trinity is "effort". For instance, you could make any Dal, which would fit the trinity, but takes a lot of time. There are books with hundreds of Dal recipes that all taste different and work, too. And this is just one example. Less than a dollar a meal if made in bulk with rice.

Think of it like email vs a website. Microsoft.com isn't connected to Yahoo.com, but they store email originating from both places. The difference here is those emails are email lists (posts and comments from subscribed communities) and get sent automatically once they learn each other exist (because a user asked to get an email).

Might have to give Fair Email a shot. I use AquaMail now, and it's about the only non-foss app I use.

I tried almost every Reddit client. Sync is/was perfect. Card styling, customized swipes, two column mode on my tablet, on and on.

I really, really, hope this turns a out to be the Sync I know and love, vs a different app that shares only the name.

I think it was StarGoose from the 80s. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Goose

Same in Firefox. And if you only get the preview in reader mode, refresh after you are in reader mode.

One comment, account is new. Either they forgot the /s or they're a troll.

The not being able to click on a message in the inbox and get to the comment in context is a big one for me.

Oh how I feel this. 100% me before WFH.

Why are they disallowed? And more importantly, why is this not transparent in the pinned post about Lemmy.one as a rule?

I was blindsided by this when I saw another user mention it, and while I enjoy Lemmy.one very much, I'm considering moving on because of this. I rarely, very rarely, down-vote, but at times it's handy to push down misinformation or adverse content.

It feels a bit too much like YouTube and the removal of the dislike button to me. What are other's thoughts?
