I've only read Blood Meridian but The Judge still stands out as a strong mysterious character with questionable intentions.
Flyspeck
I read The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis a few months ago and it had some incredibly grisly passages describing the killer's victims.
The Roots (Rising Down, Things Fall Apart), Madlib (Sound Ancestors)
The Pete Rock remix is also dope, arguably better than the original.
I've had this saved on Shudder for months now but heard it's not an easy, light watch. Definitely wanna see if it lives up to the hype, however.
Poultrygeist
I wanna say Troma's War but it's more action splatter ridiculousness than actually scares.
looking forward to giving this a spin! The OG Black Elvis is one my favorite Keith albums from his peak creative era (96-99)
This is the visual presentation breakdown Ive seen so far! Finally grasping this!
I read this maybe a year or two ago and also really enjoyed how immersive and visceral it was (the eyeball scene still makes me wince). I also found the gender shifting of the characters fascinating in how it affected relationships and dynamics. Marlon's book podcast is also great if you haven't checked it out.
Agree! I use to love learning how to sideload and customize on my Blackberries.
