I thought it was great! I’m always a fan of wet tracks shaking up the order of things, and this street course + nascar wouldn’t mean dangerously high speeds in the low grip conditions that would lead to horrible accidents. SVG’s charge at the end and winning was a very cool occasion with all the records that came with it as well. Seeing which drivers could make good use of the dry like or pull out a little extra grip on a bad line is always fun.
The bumbling but honest and wholesome love, with a premise that seems to hopefully avoid large misunderstandings or cliche competition. Great!

While it’s hard to ignore the boring front especially with how often broadcasts focus on it, look towards the mid pack! I’ve been having a good time seeing all these upgrades for every team and their cars being suited to different tracks shuffle them around. Aston started up front, then Mercedes looked up, then Alpine seemed to have some good runs, now Ferrari and Mclaren!
Honestly fantastic anime rendition as well. So much character. Shame that it didn’t do well when it aired but garnered way more love after the fact.

I’m glad isekai has so many wacky interpretations, but wow this is certainly an interpretation.
This needed another season, the last couple of episodes and especially this one were just... jammed in. So many jumps and conveniences.
