THE RINGS!!!!!!!!!! blobhaj, flag, sunburst, lesbian blobhaj, ani, hearts, animated

I'm happy with this ending, it's satisfying. But I can see why people are disappointed they didn't show the wedding, if they took one more episode to iron things out it would have been a 10/10.

Wayyyy too rushed, I'm very surprised to see this didn't get the standard 50 ep run that most AU gundam series get. Especially since it seemed to be doing quite well as far as I understood, anyone have any insight?

It felt rushed, wish there had been more, but I'm happy with where everyone ended up

(x-posting from the lemmyworld anime discussion thread)

spread of information thermological entropy confirmed? sounds like it's time for claude shannon to save the day.

i suppose the finale is alright end to a pretty strong rest of the season but it kinda feels like a lot was jammed in at the end (not helped with dumping all these new terms on us) that could be explored in more detail over a longer of period of time (which i guess is still possible, although the show made the point of putting "this is where the story concludes" at the end..). seeing the space assembly league use previous events as a power play and excuse to completely hunt down the benerit group and associates would've been intriguing to see play out much further. the data storm thing kinda ended up being pretty newtypey that might be explorable more (or at least explained more, especially with things dissolving and the whole entropy thing... but that also may be treading on previously explored territory, just with a different name). also there's a lot of potential for themes to explore, like the whole data storm thing and connecting things together (DSoT, data storm of things?) and there's that whole thing about gund-arm tech being used for weaponry vs medical uses that kinda does play a plot point (petra got new legs!) but also kinda feels unexplored, at least in terms of the process behind-the-scenes and actually getting to that point.

One interpretation is that there is a general want for GUND-ARM (Gundam) technology to not be used for war, Given that the "true" Gundams left are the only 4 that were disintegrated, Suletta+Ericht used their ability to exert influence over whatever particle magic system was powering the Permet stuff to achieve the desired outcome.

But yea, for a science fiction "magic is indistinguishable from advanced science" perspective, the finale did feel very magical rather than grounded in science fiction

This needed another season, the last couple of episodes and especially this one were just... jammed in. So many jumps and conveniences.
