Same, excited for the full features to arrive on it. Been looking at the road map on their github and it should be a great app once everything gets built.

They haven’t added that as a feature yet. Its on the road map though and high priority.

The mlem app is working on swipe to upvote feature according to their github issues list.

I put “Lemmy.world starting guide” as the filter. Apparently its case sensitive cus i originally capitalized a few other words and it didn't work.

Its possible it could filter out other posts with the same quoted phrase, but it would have to include the entire phrase. For example, if a post had the words “starting guide” in it, it wouldn’t get filtered out.

So i figured out that the ios app mlem has a word filter that applies to subject text of each post. I just put the title of the pinned post and it no longer shows in my feed!

Maybe because its sticking and long. So it keeps showing up at the top of all for lemmy.world users. Theres no way to hide it after reading that im aware of.

Great post, but how do i hide this after reading through it? It really sucks that this keeps popping up at the top of my all feed and i have to scroll past it before anything else shows.

I wish Apollo could get converted to use Lemmy. The ios app mlem is alright, but its very new and missing a lot of features, like a basic search feature. otherwise it works fairly well.

Edit: after messing around more with mlem, i realized there actually is a search feature. Its in the same spot as the All/subscribed switch button in the top middle area!

Not really, im actually excited about exploring the lemmy verse. Feels like a breath of fresh air. Reddit was starting to feel stagnant.

Wonder if someone could use the feddie instances as a sort of block chain for storing account auth info. Any instance could validate a users login by talking to other instances. If an instance goes down, that login and user info would still be stored in other instances and never in just one.
