Not currently that I’m aware. As an Apollo refugee, i find myself trying to tap and zoom in on images way too often with mlem and feeling frustrated. Love the mlem progress so far and would love to see this feature added.

Theres already a github issue about this. Think the lemmy devs are on top of fixing it soon.

do you know what the official github issue number is? Ide like to follow the progress on it as it is extremely annoying to me as well.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

My personal view is very similar to @[email protected], i just didn’t say the second part.

I have friends from China who are very good humans.

Us lemtards over here don’t know how to behave.

Honestly that is the main reason i became a lurker on reddit, why comment? if im on /r/all then anything i could think to comment has already been commented by someone else most of the time if you scroll down enough. It was really only the smaller niche subs that i was able to engage with.

Im talking to you from a lemmy.world account right now. Whatever instance you chose to create your account with is the website you need to go to each time you login. From there, you will still have access to search comment etc with any other community through your current instance.

i mean lemmy.world server is in germany, but the guy who runs it is dutch so probably has a pretty open policy with freedom of speech i would imagine. And i mean real freedom of speech not the dog whistle for being a dick/racist/phobe

yea, i decided ill take the hit to losing potential news posts and just turned off the show nsfw button in my settings for now.

Apparently the ability for individual users to block instances is an open issue on lemmy github, so maybe it will get added in the future.
