The only time you can successfully institute anti-corruption tactics is early. After that it’s pretty much impossible.

Agreed, especially because I believe we’re headed for a repressive regime here in the US in about 2 years.
Places like this will need to get very careful if they want to remain bastions of free speech and places where people can come to find the information that will no longer be available in mainstream channels.

You’re mistaking the GOP’s words for their actions.
I don’t care what they say about small government, I care that they’re telling women what to do with their bodies. That they’re threatening election officials with violence. That protesters on the left get arrested and Proud Boys get escorts. This is what matters.
